You can report a fault for three years from delivery. For the first two years, if something is wrong, we have to show it was not faulty when you got it. Faults and complaints.

What the structure does

  • Contains the side-zip trouser, the lined trouser and the short seated jacket.
  • All three are cut for sitting: longer back, shorter front.
  • The side-zip trousers open flat; the lined trousers and the jacket do not.
  • One weight of fabric across the cold half of the year.

Where it stops working

  • Only one of the three items opens flat. The other two are pull-on.
  • The jacket in this set uses a standard zip pull, not the oversized loop.

Closing force on this item

  • Light

    Pulls together on its own from about 8 mm apart. A finger and a thumb are enough.

  • Medium — this item

    Holds under a coat or a lap belt. Separating it takes a deliberate pull.

  • Two hands

    One hand holds the fabric while the other works the closure. We mark these clearly.

Seated measurements — trousers and skirts

These are seated measurements. They are not the same as a standing size chart, so please measure rather than assume. If you are between two sizes, tell us and we will say which one we would send.

Seated waist
Sitting down, measure right round the body where the waistband will actually sit. This is usually larger than a standing waist.
Seated hip
Sitting down, measure round the widest part of the hips and the seat, keeping the tape level.
Seated inseam
Sitting with the knee bent, measure from the crease at the top of the inner thigh down to the ankle bone.
