What the structure does
- Full-length opening from neckline to hem down the centre back.
- Front is cut in one piece with no seam across the lap.
- Skirt is shaped so it does not pull when seated.
- Lays flat when the back is open.
Where it stops working
- This dress needs a second pair of hands to close. That is how it is built, and we say so before you buy.
- The back opening is visible without an outer layer.

These are seated measurements. They are not the same as a standing size chart, so please measure rather than assume. If you are between two sizes, tell us and we will say which one we would send.
- Seated chest
- Sitting upright, measure right round the fullest part of the chest, keeping the tape level under the arms.
- Seated back length
- Sitting upright, measure down the spine from the bone at the base of the neck to the seat of the chair.
- Front length
- Sitting down, measure from the shoulder straight down the front to where you want the hem to fall over the knee.
